Job summary

Airedale NHS Foundation Trust is working with partners across the care community to deliver a digitally mature organisation, supporting the delivery of quality care to the patient. The Trust's digital programme and projects will enable improved communication between patient and care providers, improved clinical records systems and a more robust digital infrastructure on which to build for the future.

Main duties of the job

The main purpose of the role is to support the project management teams in their delivery of projects across a wide range of digital subjects. The post holder will work closely with project managers to ensure that project delivery is completed on time, safely and well documented. The post holder will also provide office administration support and programme office support to the wider Digital PMO.

The IT Services department at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust is responsible for the delivery of information systems and services to the whole organisation to support clinical and business integration. It leads in the development of IT strategy and directing all delivery programmes and services. IT provides a range of critical IT services many of which are running 24 - 7. It is also responsible for ensuring that IT Governance is executed effectively in order that the Trust complies with its information obligations.

Job responsibilities

The post holder will support in the production, management and process all the formal documentation for each stage of the project(s). The role will also include the co-ordination, day-to-day support in the delivery of these defined, complex projects within the programme. Projects will need to be delivered within budget and to agreed time scales. Individual projects may span one or more localities.

Hybrid working is available with onsite activities and team days taking place at the Digital teams base. The post holder will also be required to attend sites across Yorkshire to deliver digital projects.

Essential

  • GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
  • Evidence of recent and on-going learning and development

Desirable

  • 1st level Degree or equivalent gained by experience and training
  • Diploma or equivalent
  • Qualifications in, or demonstrable understanding of, PRINCE2 or other project methodology

Experience

Essential

  • Knowledge and experience of administrative processes
  • Experience of establishing and maintaining accurate records
  • Experience of gathering intelligence/information from a variety of sources
  • Excellent IT skills including MS Office products Word, Excel, Project & PowerPoint

Desirable

  • Experience of working in a structured programme and/or project environment
  • Experience of report writing

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Can demonstrate good organisational and time management skills
