If yes, then this post is for you. We are looking for a substantive Consultant in Urology to join us within the Surgical Directorate Surgical Service at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust.
The Trust and NHS is facing a time of transformation, challenge and opportunity. The Urology team is developing its service as part of the lighthouse project, introducing new treatments for BHP and is looking to further develop its urology investigations unit. We need a Consultant Urologist with vision and leadership skills to join our current team of enthusiastic surgeons to strengthen our team for the future.
Main duties of the job
This is a new post for a Locum Consultant post in Urology based within the Surgical Directorate
The post has been created to meet demand within a substantive post, giving resilience and sustainability to the service.
To provide a comprehensive Consultant Urologist support to the Urology Department and to develop a sub-specialty interest over time.

The post will be based at Airedale Hospital. Airedale NHS Foundation Trust serves a population which extends over a wide and diverse geographical and demographic area, from the Yorkshire Dales, to the small market town of Skipton, Ilkley, and urban Keighley.
The hospital lies between Keighley and Skipton, only 10 miles from the multicultural city of Bradford and within an hour from Leeds. Airedale is a national leader in the development and provision of Telemedicine.

- oAn appropriate higher "Urology" surgical qualification.

- oSufficient experience to provide Acute and Elective Urology services at Consultant Level across a range of Urological techniques
