We have an exciting opportunity for aPermanent Band 6 rolewithin our friendly Trauma Orthopaedic Outpatients team in Silverdale.

We have a dedicated and supportive multidisciplinary team who pride themselves on providing the highest quality patient focused care.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will:

  • Be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of care for our patients in the ward.
  • Provide professional, clinical and managerial leadership to nursing staff within the ward.
  • Contribute to managing the nursing and material resources of the ward in a flexible and cost-effective way.
  • Support the Ward Manager.
  • Act as a role model and lead with honesty and integrity
  • Support student nurses and junior staff

  • ENB 998 OR equivalent to be either completed or due to be completed.
  • 2 years working as Senior Staff Nurse
  • Experience in acute surgical nursing Supervisory experience

Desirable

  • A Degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Foundation Management / Leadership training.
