An opportunity has become available to join the Theatre Resource and Information team as an Information Assistant on a fixed term contract for 12 months.
To work within the Theatre departments to support the Resource & Information Lead in providing and maintaining a comprehensive Theatre information system to Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust.
This is an interesting and varied role giving the successful applicant the opportunity to expand their knowledge and work in a fast paced environment.
Main duties of the job
It is the role of the Theatre Information Assistant alongside the Resource & Information
Lead and Theatre Information Co-ordinator to provide and maintain a comprehensive
Theatre information system to Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust.
The Information Assistant will support in the provision and development of a professional theatre information service to Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust and its clients. This will also involve daily data quality checks on all system data, validation, manipulation and correction of data whilst also providing secretarial and administrative duties for the theatre information service and the Senior Theatre staff, including diary management, typing & minute taking.
The Information Assistant will support the theatre Materials Management Officers with the stores and supplies for theatres ensuring items are receipted properly.
The post holder will provide a customer focused service to staff, managers, clients and suppliers.

- Knowledge of data analysis and associated software computer systems acquired through Diploma or equivalent experience/qualification.
- Educated to Diploma level or equivalent
- Good general education.
- Qualification in Typing or Word Processing
Desirable
