Main duties of the job

In Paediatrics the post holder will have the opportunity to experience a range of specialities including failure to thrive, allergy, learning disabilities, specialist schools, coeliac disease and in-patient ward cover. The paediatric team consists of 3 specialist dietitians and works closely with the paediatric MDT in specialist clinics such as allergy, coeliac disease and feeding clinic. The team is based within the dynamic and friendly Nutrition & Dietetic team but you will have close links with the children's ward, SCBU, CDC and children's out-patients.

In Community the post holder will support the adult oral nutrition community pathway including the care homes service in the Harrogate area. This will be alongside our dedicated and supportive community team. You will be involved in helping to deliver our care home training and education programme as well as being involved in audit at the care homes. In addition the post holder will have the opportunity to support the home enteral feeding teams.
