Triage assessment nurse/practitioner

Job summary
We are seeking positive, proactive and enthusiastic staff to join our existing teams in the ongoing development and expansion of our urgent care services across Harrogate ED and Ripon UTC.
Working as a triage assessment practitioner you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of clinical care in the initial assessment and prioritisation of patients presenting with minor injuries and illness. Working collaboratively with the immediate and wider multidisciplinary teams as well as partner organisations to ensure seamless and timely care with the best possible patient experience.
Interviews will be held on the 17th and 18th June 2025.
Main duties of the job
- Initial assessment of patients presenting with undifferentiated minor injuries and illness
- Assessment, streaming and onward referral of acutely unwell patients
- Under the direction of the UCPs, providing treatment plans and discharge advice
- Contribute to meeting the identified Key Performance Indicators within the time frames identified
