Job summary
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Hepatology Clinical Nurse Specialist on a fixed term contract/secondment basis to join the expanding Hepatology Service at Harrogate Hospital.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will provide specialist nursing expertise, facilitating evidence-based patient centred care for patients within Hepatology working alongside our gastroenterology consultants. They will facilitate patient empowerment by enabling Hepatology patients to manage their condition effectively and independently preventing complications and improving quality of life. To be a resource to other health care personnel and to plan, deliver and evaluate programmes of education and development for Hepatology care.
The successful candidate will have some experience in hepatology nursing, ideally have some experience of running outpatient clinics.
