Job summary

Are you a highly motivated, dynamic, and organised Medical Secretary looking for a new opportunity?

The team supports a team of consultants who are based in Harrogate.

As Team Leader, you will provide day to day supervision and coordination of a small team, ensuring high standards are consistently achieved.

As Medical secretary you will provide comprehensive, confidential secretarial and administrative support in our extremely busy department, you will be a great team player, excellent interpersonal skills, and will be able to work under pressure to set deadlines. As such you must already be an experienced Medical Secretary.

This is a service that is critical to ensuring high quality patient care.

Main duties of the job

  • Providing secretarial/administration service to the Consultants and medical teams.
  • Leading the team using initiative, experience and leadership skills.
  • Accurately co-ordinating medical information to expedite the continuing care of patients.
  • Taking responsibility for the successful organisation of the Secretarial/PA workload using time management, planning and organising skills.
  • Use initiative and maintain a high level of confidentiality and diplomacy at all times without immediate access to line supervision.
