Information:

This job is now closed

Job summary

The Trust is seeking to recruit an IT Desktop Technician to primarily provide support to users of IT systems and services at our community sites across the Tees Valley and North Yorkshire coast.

You will support the use of hardware, software and telecommunications in the organisation, including providing high level onsite and remote IT technical liaison, support and network administration to computer users across the full lifecycle of incidents and problems. You will also receive and resolve requests for support and providing where appropriate, some technical fault diagnosis, advice and guidance.

Main duties of the job

The role involves close working with all teams within the IT function and throughout the wider organisation, ensuring a quality client-focused service is delivered to users and providing second line support to users of IT systems and services across the organisation.

This role would suit someone who can work through technical issues, support colleagues that have a wide range of technical abilities, and have a logical thought process.

A successful candidate would be forward thinking, patient, able to simply explain technical issues to non-technical staff, and have exceptional knowledge of Windows 11, and Android operating systems.

A full, clean, UK driving license, and access to a vehicle insured for business use is essential to this role.
