Job summary

Exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic post holder to support the Oral Health Manager in delivering an excellent oral health promotion service to improve oral health outcomes across Sunderland. The role will include linking with local dentists, training to healthcare professionals, care support staff and delivering on our supervised toothbrushing schemes. In addition we undertake community events (sometimes in unsociable hours e.g. weekends) a couple of times a year. Part time position available.

Main duties of the job

Deliver oral health promotion training in accordance with the latest national guidance, to a wide variety of stakeholders including healthcare professionals, educational frontline and care home professionals.The post holders will also support the delivery of a supervised toothbrushing programme, within the contracted areas, working flexible as required.
