Job summary
As a Senior Care Coordinator, you'll be spending your time in the community conducting visits to review and assess the work of our Care Assistants. You will be supervising, supporting and guiding a team of carers on a daily basis and working closely with our Registered Manager to ensure smooth running of the team. The role will include being on a rota for being on-call responding to urgent matters relating to uninterrupted service delivery.
Working weekends and out of hours will attract enhanced hourly pay rates as will participating in the on-call rota.
Main duties of the job
If you are someone who loves working with people and helping their development and always looking for ways to enhance quality of care, while working in an environment that's busy and fluid then this role is for you. Day-to-day, this includes:
- Providing personal care,
- Medication administration
- Care planning for service users
- Carrying out assessments on behalf of the team.
- Actively participate in the professional development of self and others.
- Participate in the on call service, outside of office opening hours.
You will need to have a full UK driving licence and will work in clients homes in the Harrogate area and at our Knaresborough based office.
