Job summary

The Compliance & Regulation Manager has a unique and varied role responsible for managing key elements of the regulatory agenda within HDFT. The post would be part of a busy but dynamic team that encompasses all elements of quality and safety including PSIRF, Complaints, Claims, Coroners, Risk Manager, Compliance & Regulation, Patient Experience and Clinical Standards & Outcomes.

The post sits within the Compliance & Regulation arm of the Quality Team which encompasses care quality commission, NHS England and external agencies.

The post managers the Compliance & Regulations Officer.

Main duties of the job

The key focus for this role will be:

Developing policies; procedures; guidelines; infrastructures; systems; and processes which will ensure the organisation is able to meets it's statutory, regulatory and NHS compliance requirements.

Manage a system for undertaking and monitoring Quality Assurance inspections of clinical areas.

Manage a system for tracking and evidencing actions from internal and external compliance inspections.

Manage a system to ensure compliance against CQC regulations
