We are looking for a motivated and passionate individual who wants to work as part of one of our Secretarial teams to help provide exceptional care to patients at Harrogate & District NHS Foundation Trust.
This is an exciting post working in a dedicated team of Secretaries and Administrators within our Vascular Team providing secretarial and administrative support for our Consultants.
The post will be based at Harrogate District Hospital.
Main duties of the job
Your main role is to provide comprehensive organisational and secretarial support to the Consultant team as well as communicating with parents/carers and external services.
The role involves dealing with telephone calls, which may be sensitive in nature, from clients and external agencies and communicating information to the relevant clinicians.
We strive for excellence in supporting patients accessing our services in HDFT, in this role you will help to maintain efficient, effective relationships between clinical teams, clients and administration services.
The ability to use your initiative is essential. You will appreciate the need for complete confidentiality with regard to Data Protection in respect of patient details and relating to the welfare and treatment of patients and staff at all times.
You will be a team player, have excellent communication skills and be a proficient typist with good IT skills.
