Job summary
The Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) role will be part of an existing cohort of ACPs who deliver the Same Day Emergency Care service for the Harrogate population under the supervision of an Acute Medical Consultant.
The role requires regular support to the acute medical unit to ensure the services function as a single, seamless pathway with opportunities to share and develop knowledge and skills in bot SDEC and inpatient services.
Main duties of the job
We are pleased to invite applications for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner post in Acute medicine. Our service includes a 28 bedded admission ward and a Same Day Emergency Care service which has recently undergone a refurbishment to expand the space and allow further growth in SDEC patient care.
As part of this development work we have renewed our focus on the ACP role as we believe these roles are pivotal to the ongoing success of these specialty and the organisation. As a result we now have an additional trainee ACP in Acute Medicine and are recruiting an additional two trainees in other specialities. Further, we have recently recruited a new Associate Specialist in Acute Medicine and are advertising for a further post.
