Whether you are just starting off in your career and have a special interest in Pharmacy or looking to build on your existing experience then we are looking for you to join our friendly and forward-thinking team, working within both the Pharmacy inpatient department and Pharmacy Stores.
This role involves working alongside our Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Support Workers to provide integrated pharmaceutical care for service users, to ensure safe, appropriate and cost-effective use of medicines. You will participate in a range of duties within the Pharmacy inpatient department and Pharmacy Stores which will support the ward-based Pharmacy service including the supply and distribution of medicines to wards and departments and stock management.
The pharmacy department are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and reliable member of staff to join the existing pharmacy team. This position is based within our inpatient dispensary and pharmacy stores.
Main duties of the job
You will either have or be supported to work towards the completion of an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services. You will also possess an ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently, effective time-management skills and be flexible to changing work routines. Previous experience of working in a hospital or community Pharmacy would also be desirable.
As part of the Pharmacy team you will be required to contribute to the Weekend, Late Nightand Bank Holiday Roster.
