Job summary
As a result of maternity leave, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurse with Acute Medicine/ Oncology/Haematology experience to join the Macmillan Acute Oncology (AO)/ Cancer of Unknown Primary (CUP) Nursing Team.
*This is a 30 hour, fixed term post for 12 months*
Main duties of the job
Whilst being an essential team player, you will need to be able to work autonomously and be able to prioritise, assess and recommend plans of care with the wider Acute Oncology and responsible treating teams. There will be an expectation of completing the non-medical prescribing qualification/ clinical assessment qualification if not already undertaken and this will be fully supported.

This post will enable the current team to continue to develop the Acute Oncology service across the Trust to include the provision of a Malignancy of Unknown Origin (MUO) / CUP service and to develop a seven day AO service.
