Job summary
We are seeking someone passionate about standards, who will drive continuous improvement and be an outstanding role model in the delivery, development and transformation of services at Harrogate & District NHS Foundation Trust (HDFT). You will also champion and promote our values kindness, integrity, teamwork and equality.
You should have a minimum of 3 years experience in a strategic role at or just below Board level or equivalent. You should demonstrate the ability to combine strategic thinking, a track record of inspirational leadership with evidence of day to day delivery and improvement. You should have experience of partnership working and collaboration across the health and social care sector, but do not have to have worked in the NHS.
The successful candidate will be of the highest integrity and will have a record of leading and inspiring colleagues as well as being a cohesive team player.
Main duties of the job

- Help develop our role as an anchor organisation within local communities
- Ensure that we are a strong contributor within 2+ ICS, acute collaboratives, and wider partnerships
- Develop an ambitious clinical services strategy, taking into account the findings of the Carnall Farrar review, and align this to an estates strategy for the next 10 years
- Ensure our operational and business planning cycle is aligned with our strategic ambition
- Lead our development of clinical and managerial networks across the wider geography for the benefit of ourselves, our partners and the population
- Lead strategic integration and networking of services at place and ICS level
