We are looking for an energised and motivated
Digital Midwife
Our successful candidate will lead on digital transformation as part of our ongoing Maternity and Neonatal Single Improvement Plan.
With clinical expertise, professional direction and effective leadership, the postholder will understand how data, digital records and robust reporting can drive continuous learning. The post holder will demonstrate specialist knowledge of maternity and evolving IT systems and be an ambassador for digital leadership.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will lead on development and implementation of digital systems to ensure clinical practice meets professional standards.
The role will involve significant collaboration with the senior management team and wider, complex MDT, being responsive to the governance and digital needs of the department. There is a requirement to work alongside the LMNS to support national agenda's around data gathering and system delivery.
Central to successful digital integration, the post holder will champion the voice of users, listening and enabling staff to drive standards and continuous improvement.
As a visible and engaged lead, superuser, the Digital Midwife will be the digital champion. You will plan, lead and manager projects relating to digital transformation to implement transition and development.
You will support operational success of the Trust's digital services for clinical users and all stakeholders, contributing to education, problem-solving responses and process development.
Maintaining data sets relating to training, health informatics and other KPIs supporting, for example, MIS, and GDPR, is paramount. The role is integral to the governance and risk agenda.
You will have a keen insight and understanding of the opportunities digital transformation affords us.

- Experience of working with healthcare administration IT systems
- Has extensive midwifery knowledge and experience
