Job summary
Join our team as an Assistant Audit Manager - IT and play a pivotal role in ensuring our clients' digital risks and business systems are effectively managed. You'll support Audit Managers in staff development, work scheduling, and assignment planning, while also leading high-level IT audit assignments and presenting to Audit Committees. We are particularly interested in hearing from people with significant cyber security knowledge and experience, especially in the practical implementation of solutions which address cyber security challenges.
For a candidate with this experience we would support further training both to enhance internal audit skills and to achieve full registration in respect of the UK Cyber Security Council Professional Registration for the Cyber Security Audit and Assurance specialism Principal title.

Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the AY Digital Audit team.
- Manage and deliver IT audit assignments.
- Prepare and present audit reports.
- Provide expert advice on IT risks, cyber security and controls.
- Support the Senior Management Team in strategic IT audit initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
- Degree-level education or equivalent.
- Professional qualification (e.g., CISA) or significant experience.
- UK Cyber Security Council Principal Cyber Security Professional level registration
- Advanced knowledge of NHS IT systems and cyber security requirements.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
