Job summary
We are looking for someone to join our team in the role of Scarborough Coastal Health and Care Research Collaborative (SHARC) Programme Manager.
In this role you will play a key role in the efficient and effective organisation of the SHARC team ensuring projects and assignments are planned and managed within the defined project framework and governance structure to achieve desired outcomes.
Working alongside the Head of R&I and the wider team you will plan, co-ordinate and monitor the progress of individual SHARC projects, ensuring consistency across the work programmes.
Our successful candidate will be responsible for providing advice and support to the R&I team and act as a key point of contact for internal and external contacts. They will also assist the Head of R&I and two Grant Writers to deliver their SHARC work programmes, taking the lead on projects where appropriate, and deputise for some of the duties of the Head of R&I in their absence.
Main duties of the job
You will plan, manage and review the project monitoring milestones and outcomes using project management tools and standards, andensure the required reports, in the defined format, are submitted within the given timescale.
You will work collaboratively and co-operatively with Scarborough Care Group clinicians, researchers and colleagues to develop effective high-quality research for patients and their careers.
Support delivery of research project outcomes on time and within budget constraints, monitoring and managing project risks thatthreaten the outcome of projects.
Work closely with the Head of R&I and Grant Writers to determine the priority/relevance of project aspects and take forward tasks
