Job summary
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Consultant in Breast to join our team of friendly and supportive Breast consultants.
We would encourage applications from individuals with skills to complement our existing team. The job will involve providing core elective and emergency Breast care and can accommodate most subspecialist interests.
The Trust provides acute hospital services for approximately 800,000 people living in and around York, North Yorkshire, North East Yorkshire and Ryedale - an area covering 3,400 square miles. We manage ten hospital sites, 1,127 beds (including day cases) and have a workforce of over 8,000 staff working across our hospitals and in the community. Our main sites are in York and Scarborough.

- oHold a medical qualification registered with the GMC
- oHold of license to practise with the General Medical Council
- oAn appropriate higher qualification
- oAbility to demonstrate clinical experience and skill in Breast Surgery
- oKnowledge of good medical practice and the General Medical Council requirements
- oIs able to work effectively in spite of pressures
