This physiotherapy rotation opportunity at Scarborough and Bridlington offers the chance to experience clinical practice in acute and rehabilitation settings. We have enthusiastic and experienced clinical teams, who will support your post graduate development at a pace to suit your needs.
You will have opportunities to support staff and students, as well as drive and lead in service development projects and quality patient care. The Trust actively promotes staff development through a structured support process, which will be available to you for both clinical and managerial supervision and encouragement to explore other learning opportunities.

Main duties of the job
You will also have access to peer support, both from the senior clinicians in Scarborough/Bridlington, as well as wider AHP peer support within the York Trust.
We run an excellent practical and simulation based on-call training program for physiotherapists, with bite sized practical training sessions available throughout the year. There is opportunity to support the voluntary orthopaedic weekend rota.
You will have the advantage of being able to develop skills with patients with high acuity, as seen in larger hospitals, whilst having the benefit of being a close working community of a smaller hospital.

This is a wonderful opportunity to welcome you into your new teams and our Trust, providing you with support and guidance as you develop in confidence and competence whilst transitioning from student to autonomous professional.
Preceptorship lasts 12 months and you will be assigned a preceptee who will support coach, mentor and guide you through regular meetings, along side a program of structured learning
