This is an exciting opportunity for an established Community Fundraiser to hit the ground running, working across both our York and Scarborough hospitals.

The successful candidate must be willing and able to work flexibly, with travel between all hospital sites in order to build external relationships and out of hours work will be required (where appropriate) for meetings and events.

This role demonstrates our commitment to developing and maintaining a professional and efficient approach to fundraising for the charity.

Main duties of the job

As Community Fundraiser you will take the lead on set fundraising campaigns and events within the Fundraising Plan. You will work within a small but effective Charity Team, alongside two Community Fundraising colleagues, with the support of a Charity Assistant.

You will be responsible for delivering safe and legal fundraising which provides a comprehensive and professional donor journey for supporters taking part, whilst delivering agreed charitable income and participant numbers targets, to help deliver the overall fundraising income budget.

You will besomeone with a positive outlook and attitude, a strong team player. You will work closely with the rest of the Charity Team and be keen tomake a difference for our hospitals through your workin a busy fundraising environment.
