Job summary

An exciting secondment opportunity has arisen within the Cellular Pathology Office at Hull Royal Infirmary. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic team player to become our office manager for the period of 12 months. You will be managing a team of 13 admin staff, and ensuring the smooth running of this busy office on a day to day basis. You will be managing the team, as well as monitoring and controlling the workflow in this busy environment, as well as supporting the wide team including consultants, the managerial team and laboratory staff.

Main duties of the job

Staff management including sickness absence, conducting appraisals and providing development opportunities.

Managing the office workflow and workload to enable continuation of service on a daily basis.

Interacting with colleagues and providing admin services such as meeting minutes

Communication with the wider teams, in particular liaising with the MDT coordinators.

Any other ad-hoc duties.
