The Corporate Operations Team has a vacancy which is key to achieving our objectives. The Team Secretary will be a key member of the Corporate Operations Team, and will contribute towards the overall delivery of administrative tasks within the portfolio.
The post holder will provide a full and comprehensive Secretarial service to members of the team, working with MDT members of the wider clinical services and across the Trust. The role is imperative in allowing senior team members to focus their time on delivering overarching team objectives.
This role can be based at either Scarborough or York Hospital. In line with the Trust's Agile Working Policy, there will also be opportunities to work from home.
Main duties of the job
This role requires an enthusiastic individual who is able to work independently and as a member of a team. You will be able to prioritise your workload and be an effective communicator with members of the multidisciplinary team, and other health care professionals.
You must take pride in your work, with an eye for detail and have a 'can-do' attitude. Main duties will include diary management, organisation of meetings, sending out agendas and papers and formulating concise and action focused minutes.
You will also be expected to liaise with individuals of all staff grades, including very senior staff, to gain the information you require for various meetings. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.

- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
- Previous senior administration experience with evidence of supervisory skills

- Experience of dealing with sensitive / confidential information
