Main duties of the job

We have extensive knowledge and experience of a variety of NHS organisations, and use this extensive experience to provide an innovative and cost-effective service to clients that is adaptive to the many challenges and changes they face. We aim to be a catalyst for a good corporate governance culture.

As part of the wider senior management you would assist in managing the overall performance of the consortium. This includes taking the lead and being responsible for an agreed portfolio of work, which may be for a specified functional area e.g. IM&T, Governance etc and/or supporting a manager in delivering a client's plan, taking the lead for delivery of a specified element of a plan as appropriate.

Your success in this role will be determined by your ability to:

  • Build effective relationships with a variety of individuals and clients, particularly at a senior level
  • Undertake a range of highly complex audits, projects, investigations or reviews for reporting to senior management and the Audit Committee
  • Take the lead responsibility for a specialist/ functional area of work ensuring that own work and that of other staff is scoped, planned and delivered within the agreed timescales, budget and to required quality and standards
  • Work proactively and engage effectively
