Job summary
Are you a talented Senior Developer looking to work in an environment where you can make a real difference?
We develop vital systems that are used by our clinical teams to support the delivery of safe and effective care. With numerous clinically focused projects already delivered and many more planned, this is an exciting opportunity to join our established team to develop high quality software.
You will be qualified to postgraduate degree level or have extensive relevant experience in all aspects of software development; including SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms or APEX.
You will have excellent communication skills, be team-oriented, have a proven ability in mentoring more junior members of the team and will willing to be flexible and eager to take on new challenges.

Main duties of the job
Within the Development Team you will be working in an Oracle development environment with an emphasis on quality and excellence. It will encompass all aspects of the development life cycle including:
- Requirements gathering
- Design
- Development
- Testing
- Deployment
- Maintenance
For our core electronic patient record and interfaces to other key systems.
Current projects include digitisation of clinical documentation, outpatient transformation and interoperability with the Yorkshire and Humber Care Record.
