This post sits within a supportive clinical team comprising of 3 other Band 6 Dietitians working in renal dietetics across the York and Scarborough Hospital sites, led by a Band 7 Advanced Clinical Specialist Dietitian.

There will be opportunities for involvement in audit, service development and research.

The department places a strong emphasis on clinical and peer support and supervision, and has a well established programme facilitating the training of placement A, B, and C dietetic students. We are also involved in delivering a variety of rolling training programmes for other healthcare professionals across the Trust, relating to nutritional care. The successful candidate will be involved in these important aspects of supporting the learning and development of others.
