Job summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Bank Pharmacist to join our experienced and welcoming team, dedicated to delivering a high-quality clinical Oncology and Haematology service. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the safe and effective supply of aseptic products across the Trust, while working within a department that values innovation and collaboration. Ideal candidates will bring previous hospital experience, particularly in aseptics and oncology, and be ready to take the next step into a more specialist pharmacist role. Our department has recently undergone a comprehensive Pharmacy Transformation Programme, featuring a full refurbishment and the integration of cutting-edge technologies including a Chemotherapy EPMA system, automated robotic and controlled drug dispensing, and e-Rostering. Main duties of the job
To be a bank specialist Haematology Pharmacist providing pharmacy support to haematology and oncology services under the direction of the Lead Pharmacist for Haematology.
To support the Aseptics Team by monitoring and checking chemotherapy.
To be an active member of the Haem -Oncology Pharmacy team and to help meet the overall strategic objectives of the team in the provision of pharmaceutical care for cancer and medical patients.
