Job summary
As a Practice Education Facilitator you will be responsible for supporting and facilitating clinical skills training, we have one post on each site however applicants will be expected to work across Bedford and L&D sites and at partner organisation sites such as the University of Bedfordshire Campuses.
You will work as part of the Clinical Education Team, this role predominantly relates to Pre-Registration Learners however this is not exclusive and you will support other work streams as needed. While demonstrating proactive problem solving capabilities and a high level of concentration.
The successful candidate must be able to work accurately to deadlines and be flexible, as the role will continue to develop.
The successful candidate will be expected to work weekends and evenings with some off-site working.

Main duties of the job
To support all pre and post registration learner's with clinical skills training within the organisation by creating and facilitating new and ongoing programmes of learning through a multitude of delivery platforms to support them through their training. Collaborating with the Practice Education team, Clinical Education Lead and the Associate Director of nursing to meet local, regional and national objectives.
Uphold the principles of the NMC Code or HCPC Standards.
Contribute to the development and delivery of Trust strategies and initiatives by delivering and evaluating appropriate training packages and competency assessments.
To work as a member of the Trust education team delivering classroom training on each of the programmes associated with pre-professional learning.
Maintain awareness of the other workflow / projects and cross cover colleagues as required.
