Job summary
Our Trust is currently embarking upon implementation of an Electronic Patient Record (EPR) solution across our two acute hospital sites; Bedford Hospital and the Luton and Dunstable Hospital. Its outcomes are already improving patient experience and outcomes, as well as improved ways of working for our clinical staff and their ability to better meet our patients' needs. It is an ambitious programme and we are looking for an equally ambitious Digital Benefits Manager to join us.
Main duties of the job
At the core of this role, the ideal candidate will be required to manage the identification, tracking and reporting of EPR programme benefits. They will also manage the expansion and maturity of our PMO benefits management capabilities across our other three digital programmes focused on digital innovation, digital merge (two sites, single digital solution) and digital infrastructure.
The post holder will work with project managers, project sponsors/stakeholders and the business analysts through the lifecycle of projects and programmes to identify, capture, document and monitor benefits and articulate benefit realisation through the tracking process.
The post-holder will need to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, an enquiring approach, the ability to work autonomously and a passion for improving clinical services.
