Job summary
This post will be one of two Lead Clinical Educators who will Lead one of the two Clinical Education Teams delivering the trusts talent for care and professional education and development teams.
They will work across the organisation and report in to the Associate Directors of Nursing.
Main duties of the job
To support and provide professional leadership to the service line based Practice Development Nurses / Practitioners
To lead the education team developing and delivering clinical and non-clinical skills, vocational training programmes for learners across the organisation.
To actively promote patient safety and through the facilitation of training programmes, to ensure that learning reflects improvements to the patient experience.
To work across the trust ensuring that the educational work streams are being co-ordinated and delivering against their KPI's
To line manage and support junior members of the practice education team.

1.1. Clinical Skills Training
1.1.1. To lead one of the Trusts clinical education team ensuring that the individual education work streams and the cross-cutting elements and activities are well organised, coordinated and delivered to an excellent standard.
