We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable individual to join our friendly Mask Fit Testing team. To fulfil this exciting role, you must be able to liaise confidently with staff at all levels, be willing to learn and be able to work both independently and within a team. Main duties of the job
To provide operational day to day delivery of the Mask Fit Testing service for Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) including FFP3 masks, ensuring the trust complies with theDHSC set of resilience principles.
The post holder will be responsible for providing a fit testing service for all staff that are required to wear FFP3 masks. The post holder will be fully fit2fit trained for both the qualitative and quantitative fit testing methods. The post holder will be responsible for providing a high level of comprehensive support to staff being mask fit tested.
There will be a requirement to work across both the Luton and Bedford sites.
You will learn the ability to fit and adjust masks and to work methodically and accurately through the testing process.
- You will keep written and electronic records.
- Conduct FFP3 fit testing procedures with staff ensuring proper respirator sizing and style is issued.
- Maintain the trust database inputting the results of the FFP3 mask test.
- Arrange fit testing appointments using Outlook email
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by your line manager.
