Main duties of the job

The Cashier is responsible for:

  • receipting payments received by cash, card or cheque.
  • Preparing deposits for banking.
  • Paying petty cash.
  • receiving and counting cash from departments and vending machines.
  • issuing rail warrants.
  • resolving queries.
