We have a brand new position in our existing Pulmonary Rehab team for an experienced or aspiring Band 4 Therapy Technical Instructor. This exciting opportunity would be ideal for those individuals seeking a role that will help them to progress in their chosen career path. It would particularly suit someone who has a keen interest in facilitation through exercise, education on health promotion and chronic respiratory disease management.
You will be enthusiastic and passionate in supporting people with long term respiratory conditions in managing their condition. You will become an important member of our existing multi disciplinary team working closely alongside colleagues such as Therapists and Respiratory Nurses.

Main duties of the job
To assist and support the Pulmonary Rehabilitation team to provide an effective and efficient service to patients with respiratory conditions. To undertake highly skilled support work to facilitate the rehabilitation and education of patients, their families and carers and other health professionals involved in their care.
You will work as part of the Pulmonary Rehabilitation team delivering a high quality and effective service supporting and educating patients and relatives about chronic lung conditions in order to facilitate self-management techniques for the patient group.
You will assess and treat all patients according to set treatment protocols, monitor progression and make alterations as required. We will support you to develop and maintain competencies through Continuing Professional development (CPD).
