The Christie Workforce division are looking for a Resourcing Supervisor to join our Resourcing team on a fixed term basis. This is an especially interesting time to come on board, as the team is currently transitioning alongside other Greater Manchester trusts toward a centralised Recruitment Hub.

You can expect to work in a supportive and engaged team environment, with a management team who will enable you to broaden your experience and develop a wide range of skills.

Main duties of the job

The post holder is responsible for providing leadership for all resourcing activity and for supervision of the Resourcing Team to ensure that the service to all prospective and current employees is high quality. The post holder will be responsible for enabling and implementing recruitment processes and the on boarding experience.

The post holder is responsible for providing a professional, comprehensive and efficient service, ensuring that the service provided is consistent within defined quality standards, service level agreements and all relevant policies and procedures.

The post holder is responsible for providing training, support and guidance to the users of systems and processes relating to resourcing and on-boarding, providing the highest possible level of customer service at all times.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Delivery of effective customer service

Responsible for providing specialist advice to managers and staff on all aspects of HR policy, systems and processes relating to resourcing and onboarding, which is high calibre, consistent and supportive, underpinned by sound knowledge.

Responsible for interpreting and giving advice on national and local terms and conditions, and policies to all mangers within the Trust, as required.

To be the point of escalation for HR policy, systems and processes complicated queries, providing effective advice and support in a timely and pro-active manner to managers and providing solutions to complex queries.

Responsible for contributing to the creation, maintenance and delivery of a range of training tools and guidance to cover both existing and new HR processes and practices.

Responsible for the development, maintenance and delivery of training manuals, and quick reference guides in a standardised format ensuring all documentation includes a review date, and are all reviewed and updated in a timely manner.

Responsible for the planning, co-ordination, and delivery of training sessions, using presentation, coaching and facilitation skills according to personal levels of knowledge and expertise in the subject area, and taking action to ensure development needs are met. Present presentations to large groups as required.

Responsible in complying with the Trusts policies, workforce processes and national standards and guidelines including Agenda for Change and NHS Employment Check standards, and escalating any issues or concerns immediately.

Responsible for liaising with managers to ensure all agreed relevant processes and templates are followed.

Responsible for ensuring all resourcing and systems work is completed in a timely manner in line with deadlines

Service improvement

Responsible for identifying improvements to processes and use of systems and supporting the implementation of changes.

To undertake periodic validation checks of data held on the HR systems, identifying any data discrepancies and taking corrective action, whilst liaising with all those impacted as appropriate.

To support the development of local protocols detailing the key processes in maintaining the system administrating of HR systems.

To support on projects as required.

Systems management

To be a key point of contact for liaison with the Resourcing & Systems leads with regards to system update and informing the relevant individuals and providing training accordingly.

To be an adviser on queries from users offering support and guidance as necessary including the reporting of any system faults to the systems suppliers for action and resolving these in a timely manner.

Responsible for utilising all workforce systems as appropriate including NHS Jobs, ESR, ROSTA etc and to agreed processes and timescales.

To be responsible for the security and development of the HR systems, creating and maintaining user name accounts and passwords and to action requests accordingly.

Team management

To manage and support the administration team, to ensure performance is high quality.

To ensure all team members are trained effectively and appropriately.

Responsible for supporting all administration work particularly during peaks in workload.

Undertake analysis of management information on a regular basis to demonstrate the performance of the team.

To identify and support any training and development requirements of team members by hosting regular 1:1 sessions and following the Trust PDR process.
