Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a substantive post split across Lung and Sarcoma medical oncology services.

The role is for 10PAs with an equal split across Lung and Sarcoma. The successful applicant will work at The Christie NHS FT main site as well as the Wythenshawe Hospital.

The successful applicant will join two busy medical teams delivering high quality patient care for the region.

Main duties of the job

The postholder will work across both disease groups as follows:Lung - delivering two clinics per week, attending weekly lung meeting, and playing an active part in the fortnightly lung MDTSarcoma - delivering two clinics per week and attending the GMOSS (Greater Manchester & Ostwestry Sarcoma Service) MDT.

There is a 1:3 rotation for sarcoma ward round at The Christie and a weekly ward round for acute oncology at Wythenshawe.

The post-holder will be a core member of the Lung and Sarcoma teams with the opportunity to develop a special interest to suit their interests and the needs of the services.
