Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Project Manager to work for the 'Beyond' Children and Young People (CYP) Transformation Programme across Cheshire and Merseyside (C&M).
The appointed candidate will be passionate about improving health and care outcomes for children, young people, and their families. The C&M HCP and NHSE National CYP Transformation Programme are already well aligned on seven areas of focus, driven by the NHS Long Term Plan which are:
1. Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health
2. Healthy Weight and Obesity
3. Respiratory Health & Asthma
4. Learning Difficulties, Disabilities & Autism
5. Diabetes
6. Epilepsy
7. Oral Health
Main duties of the job
The primary purpose of this role is to effectively project manage specific workstreams, and to ensure the successful delivery of the CYP transformation work streams across C&M ICS. Other projects may be identified in the future.
This post is a fixed term opportunity for 12 months and secondments will be available for this post.
The post is predominantly working from home with some occasional expectation to travel across region.

Main duties and Responsibilities Responsibility for the transformation programme workstream projects, including any required data reporting submissions. Completion of internal and external pathway mapping across Cheshire and Mersey. Implementation of project delivery across the programme. Use robust programme and project management methodologies (e.g. Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) and Projects Run In a Controlled Environment (PRiNCE 2), adapted to the context, in the development and implementation of all existing and new projects. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the services To provide the necessary enthusiasm and delivery to ensure the work of the improvement programme is successful and the improvements are sustainable within the service. Ensure robust process is in place to manage performance and report on outcomes. Contribute to the development of programme and project management skills and related competencies within the organisation.
