Administration Officer Working pattern (hours) Part time Hours / sessions per week 15 hours per week Contract type Permanent
To work as a member of a team providing secretarial and administrative support to the Adult Continence Promotion Team. To participate in the regular review of administrative procedures and working practices, implementing change to meet service needs and developments. To provide a full range of administrative skill to support the day to day running of the service
The JD & PS are currently under AfC review and are subject to change.
Main duties of the job
- Arranging clinic appointments and producing appointment letters.
- Opening and distribution of post, preparation and mailing of outgoing internal/external post
- Answering telephone/dealing with queries/taking messages accurately on behalf of the Adult Continence Promotion Team.
- Arranging meetings and managing staff diaries as necessary.
- Organising room bookings for clinic use and cancelling usage etc.
- Production of accurate and high quality correspondence, documents and reports for the Adult Continence Promotion Lead and using word processing and other relevant computer packages.
- Data inputting and compiling data reports as and when required.
- To quality check documentation completed in clinical administration support.

We provide the Mersey Regional Burns & Plastic Surgery Unit at Whiston Hospital and the Spinal Injuries Unit at Southport Hospital to more than 4 million people across the whole of Merseyside, West Lancashire, Cheshire, Isle of Man and North Wales.
