Receptionist Radiology & Cardiorespiratory

Job summary

We are looking to recruit Receptionists within the Radiology and Cardiorespiratory team at Southport and Ormskirk District General Hospital.

The post holder will be expected to be flexible and rotate across Southport and Ormskirk Hospital sites when needed and work across both the Radiology and Cardiorespiratory departments on both sites.The post holder will be responsible for the registration of patients, booking patient appointments, general reception duties, and any other administration duties. Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide clerical support to the Southport and Ormskirk Radiology & Cardiorespiratory Department.

The post holder will be required to work across both sites of the Radiology & Cardiorespiratory Department service where necessary.

This will also include reception duties at various locations, data input, record management, booking service users into the CRIS & Careflow Patient Administration Systems and assisting in the day to day running ofthe reception.

Our inpatient unit at Newton Community Hospital is where patients needing acute hospital beds can continue rehabilitation, freeing up space for more unwell patients. We also provide urgent care at our Urgent Treatment Centre located in St Helens town centre.

Specialist Regional Services

We provide the Mersey Regional Burns & Plastic Surgery Unit at Whiston Hospital and the Spinal Injuries Unit at Southport Hospital to more than 4 million people across the whole of Merseyside, West Lancashire, Cheshire, Isle of Man and North Wales.
