Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join a small caring team of pain nurses. The team focuses on effective teamwork and communication. We work closely with our chronic pain and acute pain consultants. The team go above and beyond to ensure excellent patient care and experience every day. Training and support will be offered for the successful candidate. The main roles will include Acute pain ward rounds and caring for patients in a outpatient environments. There will also be opportunity to care for patients during our theatre procedure sessions where you will see a variety of different procedures and treatments including our lidocaine infusion clinics.
Main duties of the job
The main dutied include Acute Pain Rounds, Chronic Pain Outpatient Clinics, Theatre Procedure sessions,Audit and supporting patient and staff education programmes within the trust. The post holder will need to be able to cross site work. Experience in manageing patients with acute or chronic pain is desirable along with surgical nursing experience . The post holder will need to be able to work flexibly Monday-Friday.
