An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, adaptable Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join the band 5 Occupational Therapy Rotation, which is across Southport Hospital and Ormskirk Hospital Sites.
We offer unique rotations in Medicine & Surgery, Complex rehab, A&E, Orthopaedics (Elective and Trauma), Stroke and Spinal Injury Unit.
If you are an enthusiastic Band 5 Occupational Therapist wishing to join a friendly, supportive team then please give us a call. We also welcome applications from Occupational Therapy students due to qualify this year.
You will receive support and clinical supervision from experienced Occupational Therapists and if you are newly qualified, you will be supported through the Preceptor Programme.Please ensure that your supplementary information identifies how you meet the Job Description and Specification as we use this to short list.
Main duties of the job
- To provide an Occupational Therapy service to in patients and out patients at Southport & Ormskirk Hospitals.
- The post holder will manage their own clinical caseload.
- To provide clinical support to cover the workload of other therapists e.g. during sickness or annual leave.
- To provide assistance for the Therapy and Rehabilitation Services in delivering the required range of therapeutic interventions and support to the client group.
- To undertake assessment, treatment and evaluation of treatment and intervention.
- To participate in audit and service development.
