We are a friendly small community IV team based in Rainhill Clinic.
We are looking for a flexible hardworking person who enjoys working as part of a team but equally happy to work alone.
The successful candidate will help to support the team by providing comprehensive administrative and clerical duties.
Hours can be negotiated to suit both the successful candidate and the service.
Main duties of the job
To provide comprehensive administrative and clerical duties to support service delivery.
To assist with Housekeeping duties ordering and stock control of supplies
Reception duties including telephone and all general enquiries

KEY DUTIES
Reception Duties
- To receive all visitors to the community clinic, deal with enquiries and ensure the visitors book is completed.
- Receive all telephone calls, redirecting calls, or taking and passing on of messages as appropriate.
- To be first point of contact for patient enquiries, helping to resolve if able.
ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative and Clerical
- Assist with arrangements for IV Nurses, ensuring all work resulting from clinics is dealt with in a timely manner
- Assist with admin and clerical support to IV Team
- Assisting with patient records in accordance with relevant policies and protocols.
- To undertake filing and records management duties.
- To undertake faxing/photocopying duties as required.
- To report buildings maintenance/repairs to the relevant department/s and completion of necessary forms.
- Assist with orders and maintaining stationery and clinical stocks.
- Maintain the clinic diary with booking of clinic rooms as and when necessary
IT Skills
- To ensure database for appointments is being operated efficiently and effectively and that all letters and appointments are produced on a regular basis.
- To be competent in the use of Microsoft word and Microsoft office packages for producing signs/leaflets/labels as and when required
- To be competent in the use of Electronic patient record (EPR)
Communication
- To communicate information to people who may have barriers to understanding such as deafness/infirmity/learning difficulties.
- To inform patients directly when their appointments have to be cancelled/rearranged, sometimes at very short notice.
Mailing Duties
- Assist with distribution of incoming mail and collect/action outgoing mail
