An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our clinical skills team. You will be responsible for developing and delivering teaching packages to a variety of staff groups via a variety of methods. Supporting staff in clinical areas to achieve competence and helping to develop our future and current workforce.
You will get the opportunity to gain experience in the delivery of simulation both within the classroom and clinical environment. Working with local universities and networking with colleagues across the region.
Main duties of the job
Assist with the development of training outlines, session plans, study guides, learning objectives, and competency statements and assessment tools ensuring compliance with local and national guidelines and policies and promoting, where appropriate, the benefits of shared learning across staff groups.
Support bedside teaching by directly supervising medical students in clinical areas whilst performing certain procedures.
Directly deliver training as planned to a variety of professional groups and undergraduate medical students.
Assist in organising and assessing on mock and final practical examinations (such as Assessments for Learning (AFL's) and Liverpool Clinical Assessment System (LOCAS) for undergraduate medical students.
