Job summary

This exciting role will support the Programme Developer for Patient Experience and Nursing Quality Indicators in providing comprehensive, professional, and responsive administrative, project support to deliver the Trust's Patient Experience Strategy.

You will be instrumental in the co-ordination and monitoring of projects and delivery of workstreams relating to each of the patient experience strategy promise groups across the organisation, in line with the Trust's project management approach.

Must have excellent networking and communication skills and a track record of being able to build positive working relationships with external partner organisations as well as members of the public in order to generate interest and involvement in the strategy.

The post holder will be an organised and highly motivated individual who is able to work to specific time frames and deadlines and can work autonomously and as part of a team.

Creativity is also a key element to the role therefore it would be desirable for the post holder to have experience of managing social media platforms including creating engaging content to network, build followers and recruit members to join workshops and other projects related to the patient experience strategy. It would also be desirable for the post holder to have experience of using the online graphic design tool Canva to create related promotional material.

Main duties of the job

The Project Support Officer at will support the Corporate Nursing Team to:

  • Provide administrative support to the Corporate Nursing Team including supporting and enabling delivery of the Trust's enabling strategy and project outcomes and projects.
  • Provide administrative support to the Corporate Nursing Team including organising and patient experience promise groups and their subsequent task and finish groups coordinating programme and project meetings and events

There may be occasions when the post holder will be required to be work flexibly in order to support the team (e.g. working evenings/weekends) and meet the objectives of the role and projects.

Essential

  • Foundation Level Degree / NHS in Business and Administration or equivalent experience
  • Effectively utilise a range of IT office systems including MS Project, Powerpoint, MS Teams, Word, spreadsheets and web browser technologies

Desirable

  • Project Management Qualification (Prince2 Foundation or equivalent)
  • European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL)

Knowledge and skills

Essential

  • Experience of transformational change projects preferably in the Wirral region or wider NHS IT environment engaging clinical staff and other key stakeholders in collaborative projects
