We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, 1st level NMC registered nurse with an interest in Dermatology to join are nursing team at Clatterbridge.
We pride ourselves on our first class service and patient experience and we are looking for someone with a willingness to be flexible and proactive in our service provision on a holistic level.
The Dermatology unit offers a diverse package of care to people with a variety of skin conditions ranging from urticaria to skin cancer.
Treating patients from a relaxed ward setting on the first floor and outpatients on the ground floor, we offer inpatient treatment for intense topical treatment, daycare treatment, phototherapy, allergy testing, out patient clinics, Photodynamic therapy, dressing clinics, Iontophoresis, camouflage, paediatric clinics and cancer clinics.
We are seeking a dynamic and well-motivated individual that has an insight to caring for patients with a Dermatology condition either in a ward setting, clinic or outpatient setting. Although not essential as training will be given on the job from our specialist nurses with lots of knowledge and skills to pass on to you enabling you to develop the skills over time enabling you to provide high standard of direct nursing care to our dermatology patients.
Main duties of the job
The successful post holder will join our existing team of specialist nurses, staff nurses and Doctors. You will be able to explore ward treatments and assisting clinicians in theatres, completing dressings in clinics and administer dermatological injections and provide education to Dermatology patients. With time, skills and knowledge then expand this to other specialised areas under hospital protocols.
