Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, efficient and organised individual to join our Clinical Governance Team within the Pharmacy Department on a 12 month fixed term contract.
The successful candidate would be responsible for providing support to the team, with a particular emphasis on assisting with database management, data analysis and audit work,
Accuracy and timeliness are key for this post within our busy Pharmacy department to support delivery of the best quality and safest care to patients.
The successful candidate must therefore possess GCSEs (or equivalent) including English, Mathematics and IT along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook.
The successful candidate must also be able to demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills, as they will be working within a busy team and will be communicating with a variety of different healthcare professionals across the Trust.
Main duties of the job
preparation of information to support departmental / corporate reports and medicines incident and complaint investigations
provision of accurate information collection and analysis tools
assist with design of communication material for key medicines safety issues
supporting clinical and non-clinical audits.
providing and advice and support for Trust staff to meet medicines storage requirements
handling sensitive and confidential information appropriately in line with information governance legislation
co-ordination of meeting agendas and taking, transcribing and distributing minutes of meetings from various pharmacy and Trust-wide fora within agreed time frames
