Main duties of the job

Some of the key responsibilities of the role will including leading the production of management accounting information to support the Divisional Management Groups in line with required timescales, ensuring information is accurate, timely and robust.

This role will also take a lead in the annual budget setting process for the division, ensuring that budgets are collated in a consistent manner.

The successful candidate will hold a CCAB Qualification, with a good working knowledge of the NHS and significant experience of working in a management accounting environment.

  • Professional Accounting Qualification (member of CCAB body)/Passed Finalist.
  • Evidence of participating in CPD and personal development.

Desirable

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.

Knowledge and Skill

  • Able to communicate in a variety of methods: written, verbal and presentational including report writing
  • Expert knowledge of financial and management information systems and processes to ensure the availability of high quality and accurate information in a constantly changing environment.
