Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cancer MDT Co-ordinator to join the Cancer Team at Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trusts.
The job will be based at Clatterbridge Hospital but will involve cross site working between Clatterbridge Hospital and Arrowe Park Hospital.
The working pattern will be Monday/Wednesday and Friday, 7 hours per day on a Monday and 6 hours per day Wednesday/Friday, 9:30am to 5pm on a Monday and 9:30am to 4pm Wednesday/Friday. Each day will include a half hour unpaid break.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking patients with suspected and diagnosed cancer to ensure a timely journey from referral to treatment whilst complying with waiting times targets and providing administrative support to cancer site specific multi-disciplinary team (MDT) meetings.
The applicant will also be required to support the Business Support Manager with clinical audit.
