Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a trainee with an interest in developing a career in dermatology.

This post is designed for a trainee who has an interest in a career in dermatology. As such it will give broad exposure to outpatient dermatology and dermatology surgery allowing the successful candidate to strengthen their CV with a view to ultimately applying for a national Dermatology training number.

This allows the successful candidate to strengthen their CV with a view to ultimately applying for a specialist registrar post.

Main duties of the job

  • Ward based inpatient clerking and general inpatient duties
  • Opportunities to attend outpatient clinics
  • Opportunities for minor skin surgery
  • Although there are no formal on-call responsibilities, there are potential opportunities for ad hoc General Medical Tier 1 or Registrar admission shifts at Arrowe Park Hospital
